Algorythm of intramedular fixation of diaphyseal long bone fracturesin children with titan elastic nails

At our Clinic we treated 129 patients who underwent surgery in the period from 2000. to 2005 with titan elastic nails for dyaphiseal fractures of long bones. To validate the method, we observed the duration of the operation, duration of extension, duration of irradiation, the simplicity of the method, postoperative treatment until rehabilitation, healing time, results and complications.
