Internal fixation of unstable and irreducible diaphyseal both forearm bone fractures in children with plates or Kirschner pins

At our Clinic we treated 114 patients who were, in period from 1992 to 1997 operated with plates and screws or Kirschner pins for irreducible or unstable fractures of the middle third forearm bones. To compare the methods, we observed the duration of operation, the simplicity of method, the length of immobilization until rehabilitation and complications.
